Extension Routing Module - Automatically enables new outbound routes for extensions

Apparently Schmooze as a whole disagrees with me, because they closed the ticket as to disregarded what I said, so I want to know what the community thinks.

I opened the below ticket previously:
http://issues.freepbx.org/browse/FREEPBX-7975#

You’re telling me that if I have 200 extensions on my PBX with strict routing setup, a different outbound route for international and local calls, and I decide to create a new route for whatever purpose, ALL my 200 extensions will by DEFAULT get access to this new route… meaning that I have to either go into EACH extension’s config page and remove that new route or export the extensions to a csv file, modify that parameter then run a mass import to update the extensions?

This is a lot more maintenance work than for the developers to add an option that allows you to choose to
"enable route by default" or to ignore it so that route does not become active for EVERY extension.

I can’t be the only one that has an issue with this.

I fully agree. See http://issues.freepbx.org/browse/FREEPBX-7704 for similar remark, which seems to be accepted and development should be in progress…
