FreePBX 2.3.1, asterisk 1.2.23
The “Outbound CID” that is setup within the Extensions configuration will not override the “outbound Caller ID” set within the Trunk configuration. And if I remove the entry from the Trunk, the CID set in the extension still is not sent. Yet the CID setup in the Trunk is received on the other end fine (ITSP handles it fine). I don’t think it matters, but the “Never Override Caller ID” checkbox in the Trunk setup is left unchecked. Also, Intra Company Route (Outbound Routes config) in not checked so that isn’t the cause.
Any ideas? I am a noob but willing to dig in, if pointed in the right direction.
