Yeah we always keep those ports closed except to our WAN IP We are sharing the network with the data and will remove ourselves and get on our own network. I have never used rkhunter, can it be run on a system that is active?
it can but it can’t reveal that a machine has already been compromised, it essentially checks for any changes in the system and notifies you of them
Yeah I was reading up on it. and if I understood what I read it needs to be installed on a clean system to begin with and then it will alert if something changes. Not helpful now on this system
