Eth0 Fails Shutdown

I might be wrong for posting this here? This may belong in a centos forum. However, when I am shutting down or rebooting I almost always eth0 fails to shutdown? When this happens during a reboot no big deal. On a shutdown for some reason my bios “Wakes on lan”. So it shuts down and immediately turns back on. Disabling wake on lan in bios fixes this but what about eth0 failing? normal? do u see it?

Thanks,
Brian
