Errors after installing updates today

received these errors after applying these updates:

backup 13.0.21.7 (current: 13.0.21.6)
core 13.0.65 (current: 13.0.63)
directory 13.0.11 (current: 13.0.10)
endpoint 13.0.36 (current: 13.0.35)
findmefollow 13.0.28 (current: 13.0.27)
framework 13.0.84 (current: 13.0.79)
hotelwakeup 13.0.12 (current: 13.0.11)
ivr 13.0.22 (current: 13.0.21)

music 13.0.18 (current: 13.0.17)
restapps 13.0.8.3 (current: 13.0.8.1)
soundlang 13.0.10 (current: 13.0.8)
sysadmin 13.0.47.3 (current: 13.0.47.1)

Here are the errors:
retrieve_conf failed to sym link:
/var/lib/asterisk/bin/licinfo from sysadmin/bin (Already exists, not a link)
/var/lib/asterisk/bin/storage.php from sysadmin/bin (Already exists, not a link)
/var/lib/asterisk/bin/register_serial from sysadmin/bin (Already exists, not a link)
/var/lib/asterisk/bin/check_portal.php from sysadmin/bin (Already exists, not a link)
/var/lib/asterisk/bin/activate_existing from sysadmin/bin (Already exists, not a link)
/var/lib/asterisk/bin/register_new from sysadmin/bin (Already exists, not a link)
/var/lib/asterisk/bin/update from sysadmin/bin (Already exists, not a link)
This can result in FATAL failures to your PBX. If the target file exists and not identical, the symlink will not occur and you should rename the target file to allow the automatic sym link to occur and remove this error, unless this is an intentional customization.

should I remove sysadmin??

rm /var/lib/asterisk/bin/{licinfo,storage.php,register_serial,check_portal.php,activate_existing,register_new,update} && fwconsole reload

That fixed it. Is there something I did to cause this, or something I should do in the future when updating?

I think there is likely a bug, someone else filed a bug report. It is not likely your fault.

Hi

I fire up this update today:
FreePBX Framework 13.0.85 --> 13.0.86

After restarting the server, I can’t apply the configuration anymore:

Reload failed because retrieve_conf encountered an error: 255

After i do a roll back to 13.0.85, I can apply without an error.

Need to see the full error. It has a line number on it.

It’s above of the picture:
Reload failed because retrieve_conf encountered an error: 255

Thank you, who ever fixed it so fast in 13.0.87 :slightly_smiling:

I got the below after applying 13.0.86 and they did not go away after installing 13.0.87.
Is this a related issue?
The directory listed in the error messages does not, in fact, exist.
“fwconsole restart” does not help
Suggestions?

Same issue here after installing 13.0.87

fixed in framework 13.0.88

Just ran the update (Framework 13.0.89).
I hit “Apply” and got the following:
Error!
Reload failed…
exit: 255
Unable to continue. SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1062 Duplicate entry ‘FreePBX\Hooks-hooks-noid’ for key ‘index3’ in /var/www/html/admin/libraries/BMO/DB_Helper.class.php on line 232
After a second “Apply” there was no error and the symlink error is gone.
Is all ok?

Update to Update to Update: Now both Apply and “Symlink Conflict Resolved [see below detail]” have both returned.

Update to below Update: the “Apply” button returned but not the symlink message.

Update to below: I hit apply one more time to see what would happen and now the apply is gone and so is the symlink messeage in the post below.

Original Post:

Acually the “Apply” button keeps coming back.
There are no errors during the apply.
The System Overview on the dashboard keeps putting in a different symlink message:(below).
I keep deleting it and it keeps coming back.
Thanks!

retrieve_conf resolved a symlink with
/var/www/html/admin/images/bullet_checked.png
/var/www/html/admin/images/bullet.png
/var/www/html/admin/images/bullet_checked.png
/var/www/html/admin/images/bullet.png
This is a notice to let you know that the original file was moved to /etc/asterisk/backup, there is nothing more you need to do

@bismark

Your first error has nothing to do with this

Seems like your second was a fluke and is now resolved.

Andrew:
Thanks so much, all is now well!!
