Error: Trying to remove "sangoma-pbx", which is protected

Hi Community – I am trying to rum system updates on my Distro 12.7.4-1712-2.sng7

When running system updated from GUI or from yum update, I get the below error blocking the yum update process for all the other system updates.

Can you pls advise if it’s a repo issue or something to be fixed on my system ?

Thanks heaps

You need to run: yum upgrade

Same error unfortunately , sangoma-pbx cannot be removed as it’s protected :frowning:

Hi not sure if I did the right thing but I have commented out the “sangoma-pbx” into the file:

/etc/yum/protected.d/sangoma-pbx.conf

then yum upgrade ran ok … let’s see if this backfires on me !!

I also have this problem
Do you have any repercussions commenting out “sangoma-pbx”?

See my post and the response further down folks! :OS Upgrade Error"
