I recently upgraded FreePBX and attempted to upgrade asterisk from 1.4 to 1.6.1.11, and also installed a new driver for a Sangoma A200 card, but now when I open FreePBX and go to system status, I see a red button under server status indicating “Error” for Asterisk and that “Asterisk is not running”. Since I read somewhere that Asterisk 1.6 was not supported by FreePBX, I uninstalled then reinstalled asterisk 1.4.27.1 and manually entered “Restart Now” and still when I open FreePBX I still see that red “Error” button indicating the same thing.
So I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong here. We are currently in the process of migrating to this new server with FreePBX so this is not live yet, but am in a crunch to try to get this thing to work.
