I now receive the following error when I hit submit on any screen:

since my latest update.

I’m getting that error too.
I think you can still apply the update - just hit refresh and the page should reload and your changes saved. You can then apply the configuration changes.
Not sure about your VM error though, my voicemail is still working despite these recent errors.

The updates are applied, it’s just an annoying error at the moment 
can you remove miscapps (you’ll lose any you defined) and then see if the error goes away. Then put it back and see if it comes back.
Removing/reinstalling Misc apps fixed the problem for me
It did resolve it but it came back after I tried to re-add an app.
try the new one I just published, there appeared to be some missing newline or corruption at the end of the functions.inc.php file, I reproed it and the fix on an Ubuntu system and that seemed to make it happy.
