Error in EPM when attempting to save template

Hello, I’m using FreePBX 14 (Framework 14.0.1alpha22) and Endpoint Manager 13.0.84.3. There is an issue when attempting to save a template in EPM.

The error returned is mysql_escape_string(): This function is deprecated; use mysql_real_escape_string() instead.

The error is caused by line 644 of /var/www/html/admin/modules/endpoint/functions.inc/functions_common.php

Unfortunately, as this is a commercial module, I am unable to edit the file.

Please advise best course of action.

That depends. If you want to find bugs in an ALPHA version of the software you can report them at http://issues.freepbx.org. If you wish to have a working system for making calls, then forget about 14 and start over again with the latest STABLE version of the Distro.

Bug report duly submitted. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I wasn’t sure where to report this issue, as it appears to be a bug in EPM. However, I’m sure it’s related to the later version of PHP which is part of Linux 7 included in the v14 distro.

Too bad I hit a bump… it was all going pretty well up until this point.
