I have the EPM programming the phones OK. However, when I dial *11 and change the extension on a phone, the display does not update, and still shows the original extension number and name.
Is there a fix for this? This is a dealbreaker for me, as my customer has several employees who travel from office to office, and want their phone extension to follow them.
The fix for this is to use RestApps. That is because it is IMPOSSIBLE to change the extension and display on a phone unless you are using Aastra XML or RestApps as both of these force config changes back to the phones when you “login” or “logout”.
Of note both of those require you to use Extensions mode as Device and User Mode is depreciated (and with RestApps really serves no point)
