Hi All,

We’re looking to allow our Grandstream users to change things like their phone backgrounds, via their phone GUI’s, to custom images. They can, but after a certain amount of time, or certainly if their phone gets rebooted, all those custom settings get overwritten by the provisioning server.

Is there a way to keep the custom settings, while allowing EPM to make only certain changes?

There is a way for Sangonma phones via EPM, but not other brands (see https://wiki.freepbx.org/display/PHON/GUI+Override).

Hi, I have grandstream and I have done this by finding the correct pcode for the config item and then edit the base file in epm, delete that pcode. from then on, when epm rebuilds the config file, that pcode will not be in the file…thus, the phone setting will remain untouched.
