EPM and Function Keys

I’m using FreePBX 13.0.190.7 with Asterisk Version: 13.9.1

I have 3 Sangoma S500 configured using EPM with a single template
The keys are configured as follows on the template

  1. Line
  2. BLF ext 101
  3. BLF ext 102
  4. BLF ext 103

On ext 101, I have the following button
Button 1 101
Button 2 BLF for 101
Button 3 BLF for 102
Button 4 BLF for 103

On ext 102, I have the following button
Button 1 102
Button 2 BLF for 101
Button 3 n / a
Button 4 BLF for 103

On ext 103, I have the following button
Button 1 103
Button 2 BLF for 101
Button 3 BLF for 102
Button 4 n / a

My question is, On ext 101, I’m getting BLF for ext 101 but for
ext 102, I don’t see BLF 102
ext 103, I don’t see BLF 103

I can figure why the display is different if I’m using the same template
Firmware is all the same.

Check the BLF Substitution setting for your extension in extension mapping for 101. It allows you to replace the BLF matching the extension number with something else.

Thanks, that’s exactly what I was looking for.

It would be nice it this is set to none then it automaticaly move the next setting up so there no extra space

The problem with that is people will complain on buttons moving around and not setting to what they told it to. It would create more confusion for users.
