Having problems with people dialing extensions in the IVR system and it not getting to its proper destination.
The party’s extension does not work until after the greeting is announced.
We have a greeting - “WELCOME TO XXX, IF YOU KNOW YOUR PARTIES EXTENSION PLEASE DIAL IT NOW”
When someone dials a party’s extension during the greeting - the system does NOT transfer the extension.
When someone dials a party’s extension after the greeting - the systme transfers the caller properly.
This causes confusion among people - who complain - they are not able to transfer to the proper party
Need to have the system detect any extension at anytime - especially while the greeting is announced
Is there a setting that needs tobe tweaked ?
