Endpoint Manager problem with Asterisk 1.8.18

We just upgraded from Asterisk 1.8.11 to 1.8.18 and now Endpoint Manager will not recognize registered phones. All of the phones that we have show a red dot next to them. They were green before the upgrade. We are running FreePBX 2.10.1.2 Framework and Endpoint Manager 2.10.4.6. We completely removed Endpoint Manager and re-installed it but that made no difference.

Since you have already reinstalled endpoint manager I think you should start looking in to your ports.

If we issue the same command that the PHP program does (asterisk -rx ‘sip show peers’) from the shell it runs fine. It seems like the program is not working correctly. How would ports be involved with that?

So me the status of ‘sip show peers’

Strange. I wouldn’t worry about the red dot. I will investigate but I advise you open a bug report.
