Endpoint manager - editing the configs

Bought endpoint manager and am now trying to add different ringtones/change the way the PolyCom endpoint work.

It seems rather straight forward. Settings->Endpoint Manager->Basefile Edit->base->SIP-Interop.cfg->pick phone-> see the text “Basefile Settings for Polycom VVX500 Using Template base” and select SIP-Interop.cfg again to get to a point where I can edit the file.

Alas, this does not get me an editable file.

So what am I doing wrong?

You will not be able to edit the file directly. Basefiles work on a “key”,“value” structure.
