Endpoint Manager Cisco 7960 - SIPDefault.cnf incorrect contents

I have some Cisco 7960 phones that I’m configuring with EPM. When EPM generates config files, SIPDefault.cnf appears to be incomplete or incorrect. Comparing the one generated by EPM to some examples I’ve found online, the following lines need to be added manually each time (which defeats the purpose of EPM):

image_version: P0S3-8-12-00
proxy1_address: 10.0.5.42
proxy_register: 1

The version of SIPDefault.cnf generated by EPM contains only this:

http_proxy_addr: ""
http_proxy_port: 80
remote_party_id: 0

These phones only use TFTP provisioning, so I don’t think these lines do anything useful (?) The phone still boots, finds its config, & registers its extensions, but during the boot process, I see “No Load Specified” if I use the EPM-generated SIPDefault.cnf file. I have uploaded the P0S3-8-12-00 firmware to as Custom Firmware 0.0 in slot 1.

Is this a bug or am I doing something else wrong in EPM…or nothing to be concerned about?

anybody got any ideas?
