FreePBX and Cisco 7942 phones. Any idea what I need to do to add a second line to the phone? I’ve downloaded the Extension manager, but no matter what I do (even editing the XML file by hand) I can’t get the phone to even display the second line.
I have set Account1 to the MAC address for the primary extension, then set Account2 to the MAC for the secondary extension. The first issue is the Account2 never shows up in the XML file even when I rebuild. If I manually edit the XML file the second extension doesn’t work. Any ideas?
