Email to Fax

Hi Guys,

I know it’s possible with the fax pro module to log into UCP and send a fax, but does anyone know if there is a way that someone can fax using email?

Something like efax service send an email to outboundfaxnumber@freepbxipaddress and it then sends the fax to the number?

my desired outcome would be to send a fax to 01946724555 using the pbx ip address 192.168.0.1

I wrote a little utility a couple years ago. You are welcome to use it as a starting point for what you want. It might mostly work for you as it is. https://github.com/billsimon/asterisk-fetch-n-fax
