Edit extension and submit leads to error 500

Hi, I was trying to edit my extension and press submit it gives:

HTTP 500 error
That’s odd… the website can’t display this page
The site may be under maintenance or could have a programming error.

Nope. That’s not a valid FreePBX version number.

I see a lot of cxpanel errors in there. I remember someone else having problems with cxpanel a couple of months ago, and the solution was to delete it from the system. Not supported, or no longer compatible? I don’t remember.

Also It’s not only cxpanal, I can see those error in contactmanager, paging, core, voicemail and so on.

The phone is working fine but when I try to make any changes it leads me to the http 500 error.
And after that the voice mail for that extensions doesn’t work.

Also, I haven’t done anything on the system as this problem started suddenly.

Uninstall CXpanel. See if that helps. If you need cxpanel, reinstall it and see what happens.

This is a warning generated by the code that was inserted by the developers. This is not a PHP warning per se but a note in the code that shows this is a deprecated function that needs to be removed.

This is due to a variable not be initialized (or set with a value) before being used. This is a PHP warning.

This is because the function strtolower() expects a value to be passed to it and there is no value being passed.

Removing the cxpanel will only stop those warnings. It will not stop the rest of the warnings such as the module_getinfo() warning or the non-initialized variable warnings or the warnings about empty/no values being sent to function calls.

I agree that removing cxpanel will not resolve the problem as there are list of programming error. And the main issue is I haven’t done any modification in the system. It was working fine and suddenly I am seeing these kinds of error.

Is there any better solution you can suggest?

You kind of have to live with it. The only way to stop those errors is to modify the PHP config to not log those warnings or update all the code to fix what is causing those warnings.
