I am running an up-to-date version of FreePBX on trixbox and am having an issue with DTMF. I know that I did not have this issue earlier as I had dialed into the system from a POTS line calling my extension, then pressing “*” to enter my password and recorded a custom greeting. Now whether I am attempting to enter DTMF for voicemail, IVR, etc. the system seems to not pick up the DTMF. I have tried dialing in from multiple phone lines including POTS lines, cell phones, etc. It is odd entering DTMF from a softphone or from a Cisco phone (7940 or 7960) seems to work fine. I have not made any changes to the system that I am aware of, yet DTMF worked earlier and does not work now. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Try adding
relaxdtmf=yes
to your zapata.conf file.
