Does freepbx fax (free) stores fax on Disk?

Hi,
I lost a lot of incoming fax because the internal smtp does not relay correctly.
Is there a way to retrieve faxes from a folder on the server?
Please help me

The bounce folder of your local mail agent (root, asterisk?) should have copies of all of the failed messages. Your sent folder should also have copies of the messages that were supposed to be sent.

If you look in /usr/share/asterisk/, (maybe /var/…) you should find copies of the files that were not deleted. If they’re going to exist on the hard drive, I’d expect them to be near there.

in /var/spool/asterisk/fax there is nothing!!!
Why?

Faxes are deleted unless you have store locally set to yes when using fax pro. The reasons are to save on disk space and also because the security implications of saving faxes without the system operators knowledge is very bad.

You are right, but in my scenario it leads to lost faxes.
Another way to save on disk space, in my opinion, could be to retain the last 20 faxes

How can I know in CDR (or some else) the fax number detail for the past week?

The faxpro module does a lot of what you are asking for. I recommend checking it out if you haven’t already.
