DM400A echoing

Dear All,

I am running AsteriskNow 1.7.1 + FreePBX 2.7.0.10 with DM400A (2FXO+2FXS) … how to elimitate the echo?

This tutorial by Kerry Garrison is very old, but still applicable for minimizing/eliminating echo. Of course this was made a long time ago when Zaptel was what we used…if you’re running Dahdi, you’ll have to make a few slight changes to some of the items he shows us to do.

I find that sometimes just running fxotune is enough. Also, tuning the tx and rx levels can be very helpful. You can ignore the compiling part since you are using AsteriskNOW.
