Distro upgrades keep re-installing all modules

OK. This is driving me nuts. I am trying to keep my system lean and mean so I uninstalled all modules I don’t need. That’s iSymphonyV3, Bulk Handler, Call Flow Control, Digium Phones Config, Sipstation, System Firewall, WebRTC Phone, Asterisk Info, Print Extensions, End Point Manager, Route Congestion Messages, etc…

However everytime I run the distro upgrade script ALL modules get reinstalled and I have to uninstall again. Can this not be avoided? In the past, the upgrade script did not re-install modules.

You need to set them to disabled. Not uninstalled.

It’s done this for years.
