I converted a handful of extensions to pjsip to utilized multiple desksets on the same extension. Everything with that works wonderfully with one caveat. When dialing voicemail the recorded audio distorts after “you have” meaning the number and word voicemail. Internal calls, external calls, and the voicemail recordings themselves are fine. I switched to Alaw codec and it took longer before distorting, but still did it. Using g729 the audio sounded fantastic, but without the license I cannot make outbound calls.
This may be an endpoint issue, since zoiper on my cell phone does not have the issue. I am using Mitel 5330, and 5312 all with the same issue. They did not have the issue when on chan_sip. Any thoughts would appreciated.
