Displaying IVR/Menu CID when external calls come through

Evening All,

I’d like to emulate other phone systems that I’ve used and wondered how its done on FreePBX.

When an external call comes into the external SIP DID, hits the IVR and then goes on to the extension, the external callers DID is displayed.

Other systems I’ve seen (perhaps they were full contact centers) would be able to display the IVR numbers/Group when the phone rings instead.

e.g.

CURRENT

External call comes in > DID menu 1. Help 2. Emails 3. Accounts, presses 3 > call goes to hunt group displays external number’s DID.

DESIRED

External call comes in > DID menu 1. Help 2. Emails 3. Accounts, presses 3 > call goes to hunt group displays “ACCOUNTS” or “ACCOUNTS-EXTERNALDID”
