Disabling the Firewall

I cannot figure out how to permanently disable the firewall. I’ve tried disabling from the command line with “fwconsole firewall disable” and I tried the “Uninstall” and “Remove” options from the Module admin. It keeps reinstalling and enabling itself. How can I remove it or stop it from being enabled?

Do you have auto updates enabled? If so you need to stop the firewall and then disable the module
