I have a new build of FreePBX 16, with a Digium TDM400P analog card with a FXS board and a 2 channel FXO board.
I can receive incoming calls with no issue, but the problem starts when I try to make outgoing calls.
I have a comcast modem, that supplies my POTS phone line. When the card is plugged directly into the modem, I have no issues with making outgoing calls, but when I split the line to other phones in the house, I cant make any outgoing calls. It just rings. However, when I pickup one of the analog phones in the house, and get dialtone, then try to make an outgoing call through freepbx, it goes through.
