It strikes me that a topic like this has probably been beaten to death, but all my searching has led me no solution.
I have FreePBX running on a server:
2.6.18-194.11.1.el5 #1 SMP Tue Aug 10 19:05:06 EDT 2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Asterisk 1.6.2.11
FreePBX 2.8.1.4
I have purchased, downloaded, installed, and registered the Free Fax for Asterisk license from Digium:
I have confirmed that the license is where it should be:
I have confirmed that the license is installed:
I have confirmed that the modules are loading:
And yet, when I create an extension with a fax destination, I still get:
Now I’ve read the documentation that came with the license:
http://downloads.digium.com/pub/telephony/fax/README
But that seems to be more command-line based, and has nothing to do with the FreePBX interface.
I’ve searched these forums for people who have had similar troubles, but this particular problem - where the license is installed, but still unusable - doesn’t seem to be among them.
Does anyone have any thoughts?
