Different outbound trunk for many phones

Hi All,

I have a freepbx installation perfectly working but… i wish to do something like that…

I have a group of Phones with Extensions from 200 to 230
I have another group of Phones with Extensions from 400 to 430

I have a SIP Trunk called SIP-TR1 and another SIP Trunk called SIP-TR2

When i place a call from one extension in the first group (200-230) i’d like to route that call to SIP-TR1, when i place a call from one extension in the second group i’d like to route that call to SIP-TR2

Does it’s possible? And if yes… How?

Thanks in advance
Alex

trunks
Outgoing Dial Rules

make one dial 8 to get trunk and one to dial 9

freepbx is not mutli-tennant ready… yet…

Whould it be possible to use a separate context for each grous of extensions to prefix all dialed number with the 8 or 9.
So you won.t count on the user to do things right and still use the FreePBX trunk management??

Unfortunately this is not a solution :frowning:
Can someone help me to modify extensions_additional.conf to do something like that i asked? For now i don’t need to manage it by web interface…
Thanks in advance…

It can be done by tweaking the dialplan a little bit.

first, cut out the 1st digit of the CIDNUM
then, if it is 2 goto macro dial trunk 1, else goto macro dial trunk 2.

Sorry, I help push you up half way the hill…no time to dig into freepbx codes.
