Dialparites.agi

As of Monday night/Tuesday morning dialparties.agi is persistently returning ‘with no extensions to call’ irrespective of a call being internal, external or to an extension or ring group.

There was an update to Voicemail (to 1.6.1), which was the only change on the system, which I rolled back to 1.6 which made no difference.

Has anybody else been seeing this behaviour?

Alan

Well I fixed mine. The execute permissions were set incorrectly.

What I don’t understand is how it can return 0 in the logs when even if you
move dialparties.agi to dialparties.agi.foo surely it should barf and say
“can’t execute file, no such file or directory” or if it has the wrong
permissions it should give “can’t execute file, permission denied” instead
of saying:

Feb 10 09:07:03 VERBOSE[29289] logger.c: – Executing
DeadAGI(“SIP/8001-081c51a0”, “dialparties.agi”) in new stack
Feb 10 09:07:03 VERBOSE[29289] logger.c: – Launched AGI Script
/usr/share/asterisk/agi-bin/dialparties.agi
Feb 10 09:07:03 VERBOSE[29289] logger.c: – AGI Script
dialparties.agicompleted, returning 0

When things return 0, that means they worked OK, well at least that is what
I was taught about Unix…

Yes!

And it is frustrating.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?
