Dialing Out Not Working

Hi guys,

I am having trouble getting outbound calling to work. I can call between extensions perfectly. When I call an external PSTN number, it comes up call failed.

I think it may be something to do with the module Extension Routes perhaps? I also have a number of currently disabled trunks, which will be turned on once I finish building this server.

I have checked in the individual extensions that they are using the correct outbound route, and have also checked that the outbound route is setup with the correct trunk.

I’m at a bit of a loss. Here is the output from the full log…

Thanks in advance!

What kind of trunks?

Using mostly SIP trunks and one IAX trunk. The IAX is not in use at present though…

My stupid fault. Haven’t set up a PBX in a while and forgot to put a dial pattern in the outbound route.

X. did the trick.
