I’m tring to edit this file but cant find it

cd /etc/asterisk/http.conf

  1. In http.conf:

    [general]
    enabled = yes
    enablestatic = yes

also are there any precautions i should take befor i
edit these files.
I’m trying to install asterisk gui 2.0 to learn more about
dial plan configuration and so on

cd /etc/asterisk
2) In manager.conf

[general]
enabled = yes
webenabled = yes

You are in the wrong forum, This is FreePBX and not in-coincidentally uses the FreePBX GUI, you need the Digium AsteriskNow forum for the " asterisk gui 2.0" interface.
