I’m installing a new FreePBX. Built a simple IVR, to allow dialing extensions and have 3 prompts. The IVR will not allow me to dial a Conference number. What am I missing in the config?
If you want to be able to choose different conference numbers have a look at the commercial Conference Pro module.
i assume you have something like press 3 and it goes to a specific conference room? or are you trying to dial the conference room extension?
a confrence is not a extension
when you want to dial this you should add it to IVR itself
also make sure you dont have option 1 and a extension starting with a 1
you have a big change you always end up on option 1
