Dial +44 unable to complete as dialed

Hi,

I am based in UK.

When I dial +44xxxxxxxxxx

It fails

When I dial 0044xxxxxxxxxx it works and so does 0xxxxxxxxxx

But I need to be able to dial in the + format

Reason being that’s how Microsoft Teams passes the call format to my PBX.

But like a mobile phone surely you can / should be able to dial in that format anyway.

I have tried all sorts of dial plans and can’t get it working. In the connectivity section then outbound routes. In the GUI

If your trunk requires 0xxxxxxxxxx then the added outbound route entry should be
prepend 0 prefix +44 match pattern xxxxxxxxxx
This only works for UK calls. You can add another route for other countries.

If the trunk accepts 0044xxxxxxxxxx then the added outbound route entry should be
prepend 00 prefix + match pattern xxxxxxx.
This should work for any country.

If the trunk accepts +44xxxxxxxxxx then the added outbound route entry should be
prepend (blank) prefix (blank) mach pattern +xxxxxxx.
This should work for any country.

If you still have trouble, paste the Asterisk log for a failing call at pastebin.freepbx.org and post the link here.

Thank you for prompt reply.

I tried all 3 above and non did work.

How do I get the log to paste? I also check with sip trunk provider if they accept format. etc, and they need it in the 00 format by sounds of it.

Also sorry, if you have lots of patterns does it read them all?
