Deployment License migration error

I am trying to migrate a deployment license following the directions in the wiki and I get an error:

ERROR 818: An error has occurred, please contact customer care at +1 (920) 886-8130 for further assistance

I went into the schmooze portal and reset the Zend ID for my deployment with my commercial modules,
Logged into my server and removed the license and PBXid files from the server and rebooted

tried registering the deployment to the new server several times with the same error

Got it all sorted out. Turns out it was a virtual PBX issue that wasn’t reporting a true hardware (MAC) address on the virtualized ethernet interface. Once that was sorted out and a reboot, the license migration worked as expected.

Always seems like a bunch of little gotchas, glad that there are people out there to help out!
