Is there a way to toggle a time condition with day/night control by calling in from the outside.
Obviously I can dial *281 internally, but what about outside? - do i need a custom context or something like that?

Why not create a misc. destination, then point something in your IVR to that?
go dig up my article in the technical corner on the day/night control. The module is a little problematic for this but it addresses your request. (Eventually I’ll fix it but for now go read).
