Dahdi requires restart

Hi Guys

For some weird reason dahdi requires a “dahdi restart” after i apply changes on the interface.

The strange thing is if i do not restart dahdi incoming calls ring but do not enter the asterisk box.

Any ideas?

I have the same problem. I am interested in the solution or other informations about the problem.

If there is no solutions, I add a question, is it possible to customize the action of the “Apply config” button to execute automatically a “dahdi restart” after applying the changes ?

If you are having to restart DAHDI there is something wrong with how you system was built and configured. You should not have to restart DAHDI.

I little info on your system would be very helpful. What version of Asterisk, FreePBX and DAHDI. Hand built or the FreePBX distro.

My IPBX was built with AsteriskNow. The versions are :

  • Asterisk : 1.8.11.0
  • FreePBX : 2.10.0.8
  • DAHDI : 2.6.0
I have one Digium B410P card on it.

If you need more informations just tell me. I am new in the Asterisk world, I have probably made something wrong

AsteriskNow does not work very well. You would be better off running the FreePBX Distro.

Thank you for your advice, but I can’t re build my system now. It is quite fully functional, it is the only problem I have.
There is no way to resolve the problem with my system ?

We are experiencing the same problem here. Here are some details about our hardware and configuration:

This is not a FreePBX issue. DAHDI and Asterisk Now are both Digium products.

This is not the place to be looking for help with this.
