DAHDI Outbound issue

Dialing in via Dahdi ch3 works fine.
Dialing out via the same channel results in silence followed by the recording “If you’d like to make a call hangup and dial again…”

The dialout string looks right to me on the CLI dialing 2024985…
Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated

Trunk configuration, outbound dial prefix. Use “W” to wait for dialtone so that the dial string doesn’t eat digits.
