dahdi_genconf gens FXS intead FXO in freepbx

Hi!i´ve been trying to install my A800p with no results at all. I´m using FreePbx 2.10.4.

i tried to run dahdi_genconf but this is what i recieved:

[[email protected]]# dahdi_genconf
Empty configuration – no spans
Empty configuration – no spans

Thanks to this post http://bbs.openvox.cn/viewthread.php?tid=1708, by removind and blaklisting the module “hisax”, i was able to run dahdi_genfconf and get some result in the /etc/dahdi/system.conf file, but it wasn´t what i expected. This is the result:

[[email protected] ~]# cat /etc/dahdi/system.conf

Autogenerated by /usr/sbin/dahdi_genconf on Tue Jan 8 19:01:18 2013

If you edit this file and execute /usr/sbin/dahdi_genconf again,

your manual changes will be LOST.

Which is very unexpected because i need the card’s FXO. in fact, if a run dahdi_scan

[[email protected] ~]# dahdi_scan

If i write the system.conf file manually, once i try # dahdi_cfg –vvvvvv for relaoding the parameters, i recieve this message:

Im having exact same issue so know need for me to Post. This is the only part im stuck on is configuring this card. I have searched and found the same docs outdated but I followed each doc for the OpenVox a800p install. I was hoping to figure this part out before training next week but am failing miserably. Any help in the right direction for the above is greatly appreciated. I will keep tapping away and re doing I know im missing something simple.

I just did this and my Green lights on card lite up and got past all the errors I was getting.
