Hey, so I’m wondering if there’s a way to customize the FPBX WebUI in a rather in-depth manner to change some colors around, such as the BG color to make it easier on the eyes and make some colors different, depending on what it is I need changed, mostly just buttons and the BG, as I said
The theme is delivered with Framework module. So it’s not really easy to change manually CSS and Less files. Because, after a Framework update your theme will be overrided.
Check arround /var/www/html/admin/assets/, /css and /less
You can play here.
Otherwise, you can try to create a module to create a theme. But not really easy if you don’t know how FreePBX GUI works.
@Ender75258 if you’re looking to go beyond personal tweaks and completely re-skin FreePBX with your own brand- we offer an OEM branding program that lets you customize the look and feel. This program allows for other changes like removing logos and trademarks. We even give you control over what modules are pinned to your version of freePBX when activated.
More details here.
Thanks for using FreePBX!
Eyy, thanks! Might look into it, but I’m pretty sure it’s all just personal tweaks, as I don’t have any REAL brands, but it looks pretty interesting
If you just want to make it easier on the eyes, so you don’t have to choose between adminning your phones & possibly triggering a migraine:
But now free.
I think it should be open source. Just an idea like that! ![]()
How is recommending an open source module a reason to get flagged? I saw the original post, it had no reason to be flagged. His follow up, I didn’t see so no clue.
You can look through the open source code and see where there are conditions that look for alternative style sheets.
For example if you set the FreePBX setting BRAND_CSS_ALT_MAINSTYLE it will be applied in views/header.php.
Seems that there is some debate above about whether links to modules etc. are appropriate, but since this is an open source project, it’s always appropriate to look through the source for clues on how to do it yourself.
Because mike said so… Time to wake up @csalameh again and let him know that unless he using his valuable time to micromanage his staff they go off the rails. I personally would terminate any staff that required micromanagement. That is just me.
Which is odd, because my post was and hidden “in error”, which, I guess is just my luck? But I managed to open a tab to the page before your post got hidden, so that’s alright
Are there any recommendations of open source modules?
There WERE, until the posts got removed, also welcome
