Amazon EC2 monitoring shows me that I am using 20% CPU constantly during idle. ‘top’ shows me that an asterisk process is using 8% CPU constantly during idle. The exact process for the the asterisk PID using the CPU shows ‘/usr/sbin/asterisk -f -U asterisk -G asterisk -vvvg -c’. Disks has plenty of space left as shown by ‘df -h’.
Any suggestions of other things to check?
Can anyone suggest some things I can check for?
It seems pretty clear that asterisk is the culprit. I am assuming you have already rebooted the box or restarted the asterisk service to see if that resolves the issue?
Maybe look at the asterisk full log and see if there is anything interesting. Perhaps looping on something?
