Couple of problems with call recordings

I set up “Force” Call Recording for my Inbound Route and Outbound Route, so all incoming and outgoing calls are recorded. I have 2 issues though.

  1. the recordings files created under /var/spool/asterisk/monitor/ cannot be played on my computer. I download them, and they appear to have Size: 44 bytes / Size on disk: 0 bytes. When I try to play them in VLC they just won’t play.

  2. Under “CDR Reports” I can see the call that took place, but under the “Recording” column, there is no indication that the call was recorded.

I’m I missing some configuration here?
