Good Afternoon,

I have a couple issues with EPM & PhoneApps. My Aastra devices are getting the “cannot display” error upon first boot.

None.

I took the full URL from the device’s configuration file under the tftpboot folder and threw it into browser. Just comes up with a blank screen. The Phone Apps I use such as call forward, parking and queues are working fine.

Second Issue. My Aastra devices are not showing DND status when DND button is used. The button works, as a quick core show hints output confirms the extension as DND. However the user does not see the visual confirmation on the device.

I took the full URL and threw it into a web browser, got the following output.
{“application_name”:“donotdisturb”,“application_display”:“DND”,“page_name”:“main”,“type”:“action”,“exitPath”:null,“layout”:[{“type”:“noop”}],“action”:[],“error”:[]}

Update: More cli output during AMI check and notify events.

Third issue, which may relate to the sync problem. New voicemail is not triggering a MWI on my Aastra devices. I’m not sure where to look to start troubleshooting this one…

Thank you for your consideration with these support items. :slight_smile:

Sorry to bump my own thread but I have not gotten a response. Anyone have an input? Will I actually need to purchase support credits for the commercial modules paid for? :frowning:

Have you looked in the wiki. Their is a FAQ on your exact issue with DND under phone apps. http://wiki.freepbx.org/display/FPG/RESTful+Phone+Apps-FAQ

Secondly we also state in the wiki we only support chan_sip at this time for phone apps. Most appear to finally be working ok on pjsip but their may still be issues.

Yes, I went through the FAQ once when first installed module and a second time when reading the forum port mentioned in start of this thread. Is the comment regarding pjsip overall for FreePBX13, as I’ve read through the section on wiki for phone apps. I see no mention of chan_sip only support. =/

Its FreePBX stance on PSIP. http://wiki.freepbx.org/display/FPG/Commercial+Modules

Looking at your list of modules above your EPM is really really old. Like 70 versions behind. Please go update all your modules.

Thank you for pointing that out. I made a type-o with the version, EPM 13.0.81.1. I will update to 13.0.84.3 this weekend but the change log doesn’t mention anything specific to what I’m experiencing.

I doubt it will fix your issue as I pointed it out when you said you were on version 13.0.18 version. At this point I am out of ideas but the whole button lighting is all controlled inside the phone and firmware itself. I would try and change to chan_sip and see if that solves it. If so then we know where to focus looking.

Okay. Feel free to close out this topic. I got things working with pjsip with minimal quirks.
