Copy of "new users mail"

Hi, I want to have the “new users” mail ( http://server.ip/admin/config.php?display=userman&action=general) also sent to an another mail-adress, not only to the user specifyed in ´(http://[server_ip]/admin/config.php?display=users (under voicemail)). I cant find any function for that.

Hi,

You can add a comma to your voicemail fileld, e.g. ([email protected],[email protected]) which may not work for your configuration or add a new alias to the alias file in /etc/aliases. e.g.:

cat /etc/aliases

maillist: [email protected],[email protected],user3@domain

Of course that maillist can be any name that you want.

After adding the new alias to the file, please run the command newaliases from the linux console.

This has nothing to do with User Manager. Please do not follow this advice.

Why not? it will do no harm to the email template if he will use an alias.

Because the original question has nothing to do with voicemail it’s about user manager. I never said anything about your alias trick
