We currently have two phone systems, one running FreePBX, and one running Altigen that are both fully operational and independant, but we are looking to integrate the two together. The ultimate goal would be to have inter office dialing working between the two systems, meaning that someone on the Altigen system would be able to pick up their phone and dial the 4-digit extension of someone on the FreePBX system. I have used every bit of Google-Fu I could muster but have yet to come up with any idea of how to procede on this.
I have found numerous postings of people trying to troubleshoot a connection issue, so I am confident it can be done, but I can’t find any information about how to do it. If anyone can give me a road map of how to perform it that would be awesome, but if you can even give me a clue as to which road to go down in the beginning it would be much appreciated.
Our FreePBX system is running on CentOS 5.5 with FreePBX 2.9.0, and our Altigen system is running version 6.5.1.514. The two servers are at different physical locations, but can access each other over an MPLS connection.
