Conference over Trunk

I have created two FreePbx servers, externsion 2000,4000,5000,6000 are in Freepbx1 and extension 3000 is configured in FreePbx2. SIP trunk is configured on both servers to call extension over trunk between the PBX Serves.

Calling extension across the trunk is really working well. Is it possible to join conference over sip trunk. I configured conference 1111 in FreePBX1, while try to call 6|1111 from FreePBX2, it says “The number you dialed is not in service, please check again 1111”.

Is there any limitations.

you are getting the “not in service” because freepbx2 doesn’t have that extn number. set up an new outgoing route on freepbx 1 say 9|1111 call it testconf and use the sip trunk to freepbx 2. Test it and see what happens. You could also set up a queue and try that as well. I’m using 2.7.0.2 and this works well. Set up an IAX trunk between your 2 boxes and see how you get on
