I have installed FreePbx on SuSE 10.2, wanted to use TrixBox but i just couldn’t get my Eicon Diva ISDN 4Bri card to work on it.
Works fine in SuSE10.2, but now after installing FreePBX, everything else works fine, but when i try to download and install a module i get an error msg saying could not untar xxx.tar to ///modules etc.
Also i notice that making changes in FreePBX were being stored in the DB fine, but were not being saving into any of the .conf files!!!

Is this a php permission issue (Not being able to run system commands etc.), as the /etc/asterisk directory has been set to 777 etc… Apache is running as asterisk user, and all file perms are in place for the asterisk user, so apache (And hence php) should have all the perms they need to edit the files.
How do i check if php has perms to run ‘tar’ as asterisk.
How are the files editied, are changes writen to DB, and then .conf files writen from DB etc…!!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP.
I AM DESPERATE. MY OFFICE IS NOW USING A SYSTEM WHICH I CANNOT MANAGE! :O/
