CLID, Sangoma A200 and the BT UK Analogue Lines

I don’t want to sound rude, but are you sure your phone line is providing caller id info? I heard that on BT, caller id is not enabled by default, as it is not free, you have to pay for it in order to get it.

I work for a POTS provider, and was thinking about halfway through your first post, “You know I wonder if BT is sending CID at all over that line…” Pigsfoot is exactly right. Probably every user in the forums has learned a great deal from the charity of others- or by typing out the problem and figuring it out themselves!
