CLID, Sangoma A200 and the BT UK Analogue Lines

Folks,

I’ve scoured these forms and the net for an answer but all I got was the recurring complaints and that no-one seems to have been able to crack it.

So here’s the straight question: what are the appropriate settings to get CLID working in the UK, with BT analogue lines and Sangoma A200 cards with FXO modules? irrespective what what CLID signalling and start settings I used, I could not get CLID.

Below are my settings from chan_dahdi_channels_custom.conf; I have four channels and have the settings both card-wide and explicitly:

usecallerid=yes
cidsignalling=v23
cidstart=polarity

; Set Channel 1
channel => 1
usecallerid=yes
cidsignalling=v23
cidstart=polarity

; Set Channel 2
channel => 2
usecallerid=yes
cidsignalling=v23
cidstart=polarity

I don’t want to sound rude, but are you sure your phone line is providing caller id info? I heard that on BT, caller id is not enabled by default, as it is not free, you have to pay for it in order to get it.
