ClearlyIP 270 VM issue

We’re on 15.0.23, running CIP270Vs (Firmware Version BOOT–2.42.6.1(2021-06-03 09:01:00)
ROOTFS–2.42.6.5(2022-03-04 11:12:00) ROM–2.42.6.5.4R31(2022-03-04 11:13:00) DSP–9.0.3(Patch 1.0.16D))

Can you please assist in troubleshooting this VM retrieval issue?

Retrieving VM by hitting MESSAGE->LISTEN results in a “Load Error. Please Check” error.
Retrieving VM using Menu → Messages → 1. Voice Mail → 1. View Voice Mail → 1. works just fine.

Not being able to use the message button is annoying the users mightily.

I am guessing this is not a firewall issue blocking some traffic, as method 2 works just fine. VM retrieval on UCP works just fine.

I can’t say for sure but will assume that the ClearlyIP phone is not pointing to the Sangoma phoneapps module. They probably have a phoneapps-like module of their own to handle the API calls shown in your log file. So you would probably want to raise the support issue with ClearlyIP, since it seems either like a phone (firmware/usage) or CIP module-specific problem.

Thanks - that was my thinking too, but was living in hope that there was some other known (easy to fix) issue.

If anyone finds this and needs a solution to the same problem, there was a bug that was resolved in Clearly Devices version 14.0.28.2.
